The Little House Kochabi

Saw this restaurant nested on a hill at Gelugor numerous times and finally decided to give it a try. The taste definitely has been modified to suit local requirement and the flavour did not fail to delight my taste bud. Will be back for more.

A small family Taiwan style restaurant. I ordered the honey chicken set. The waiter told me need to wait 30mins. I think they bake freshly so take time. Taste wise, not what I expected. Flavourful but I think their marination or sauce has orange peel? Which is what I don't like (personal preference) other wise is good. My family love it.

Entering from Jalan Yeap Chor Ee is simpler & easier as the restaurant is only a few doors into Jalan Bunga Cempaka. The compound can park only limited cars, so it's easier to park on the road outside. The pork knuckle vinegar set and huadiao wine steamed chicken set is delicious & well cooked. We could not resist the cool & tasty desserts after meal. We selected the rose peach gum with steamed milk dessert, peach gum snow lotus dessert, and baked pear peach gum dessert. Marvellous after the main course. The proprietor is very friendly & guided us on the choices. You'll find that efforts have been taken to make the place neat & pleasant, including setting a small shop for souvenirs, little toys & what not. With all these, naturally the price is on the higher end.

Have come here many times. Just realised that I've never reviewed it. Good portion, value for money. Water & tea provided. Shared that meal (in pic) with mum. Nicely decorated, free parking.

The food was good, the set is enough for 1 person. The soya drink was good. Place is bit tricky to find so be careful. Come back: Yes

Nice cosy restaurant hidden within housing area. Enjoyed the Chinese food served here. Can't tell if it is authentic Taiwanese or not but definitely delicious Chinese food. The sweet potato fries is a must try, sinfully delicious with the special 'plumy' sprinkle. Lobak is also really nice. Will come again!!

Being random n explore this shop. Surprisingly the food is so nice~ food portion and price is reasonable. Like the ambiance as well. Homey with nice music. Relax noon for my late lunch. Highly recommended n gona visit more in future.
